Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a national franchise with a new location coming to Apex in February 2018. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales and customer service professional to lead the successful launch and growth of our spa in Apex, NC.
The Leadership Team at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service in a team-oriented environment. The Spa manager is vital in helping achieve this goal, as they help motivate and organize our team of over 20 employees. The ideal candidate for this job must possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and support employees to peak performance.
This is a full time position, with opportunities to earn commissions and annual bonuses.
The primary duties for our Spa Manager are:
Manage all scheduling for spa associates, massage therapists, and estheticians
Manage all employees; hire, train, coach and develop sales and customer service skills through role-modeling, observation and feedback, key metric reviews, interactive role-playing, joint call reviews, sales and service tips etc.
Manage a current inventory on all products; Order retail and professional product as needed
Oversee implementation of corporate protocols
Field client concerns/comments as needed, and assist with spa associates as needed
Maintain communication with staff and ownership team to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the spa
Other duties as assigned by ownership team
Experience and skill requirements:
2-4 years management experience in retail/sales position
A dynamic leader who can guide staff to operate at peak efficiency
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A self-starter who enjoys working with the public in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft office suite and other basic computer skills
Experience with the Millennium Point of Sale System is required
